South Dakota Bird Notes is the official quarterly publication of the SDOU and is free for all members. Bird Notes contains all information concerning the SDOU as an organization including The President's Page, information about meetings, rare bird record committee decisions, Christmas Bird Count results, and more. Bird Notes also contains information about birds and birding, including reports of rare bird sightings, seasonal reports, descriptions of prime birding areas within the state, book reviews, and more.
